Day 1: Arrive Cairns

On arrival at Cairns Airport, you will be transferred to your chosen resort (either Cairns or Palm Cove) to check in to your hotel for a three-night stay.

Day 2: The Great Barrier Reef

Today you will explore Queensland’s number one attraction, the Great Barrier Reef, cruising in comfort on Quicksilver's high-speed catamaran to Agincourt Reef. Today is suitable for swimmers and nonswimmers alike, and you can stay dry on the safely secured pontoon should you wish, viewing the abundant marine life and coral from the underwater observatory or semi-submersible. You can also dive or snorkel with a marine biologist (additional cost). Optional Extra: Ballooning with Hot Air - Hot Air and Quicksilver schedules fit perfectly so you can enjoy a hot air balloon ride followed by a champagne breakfast before your reef trip.

Day 3: Kuranda & Tjapukai

Today's sightseeing tour to Kuranda starts with a ride aboard the historic Scenic Railway,with spectacular views of the Barron River Gorge. Explore colourful Kuranda Village, and browse the markets (Wed/Thu/Fri/Sun) before boarding the Skyrail, the world's longest gondola cableway. Glide just metres above the tree canopy, and experiencethe sights, sounds and smells of the rainforest. Transfer to the Tjapukai Aboriginal Centre for a buffet lunch and a chance to experience authentic indigenous culture, including dancing and craft demonstrations.

Day 4: Depart Cairns

Your tour concludes with a transfer from your Cairns or Palm Cove hotel back to the airport iin Cairns for your onward flight.
