3 day Cape Tribulation Go Wild

 

 

This fantastic tour provides a full insight into the Cape Tribulation region, focusing on its wildlife,rainforests and local culture. Make an early start from Cairns this morning and travel along the scenic coast road to Port Douglas stopping at the Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary to view many endangered native animals. Stop at Mossman Gorge for a swim or a guided rainforest walk through the World Heritage Daintree National Park. After lunch at an Outback-style café, enjoy a cruise on the Daintree River, searching the banks for elusive saltwater crocodiles, before arriving at your accommodation and check-in for a relaxing two night stay. Today has been left free for you to enjoy the tropical rainforest and secluded beaches at Cape Tribulation. Optional activities are available (own expense) such as horse riding, bush walks, bike rides or sea kayaking. A more adventurous option would be 'Jungle Surfing', where you'll shoot through the rainforest on a series of ziplines. The Great Barrier Reef comes really close to shore at Cape Tribulation, so if you haven't already taken a trip out to the reef from Cairns or Port Douglas, you may wish to do so today aboard the 'Rum Runner'. Enjoy another free day to relax in Cape Tribulation, perhaps enjoying the facililities available at your chosen accommodation. Your return transfer is due to depart around 4.30pm, and you'll travel south to cross the Daintree River by cable ferry before arriving into Port Douglas at around 6.30pm, or into Cairns about an hour later.
